The Technical Education Advisor (TEA) will be responsible for providing technical support to active projects and business development initiatives through driving thought leadership in innovative programming that applies transformative approaches to education, facilitating learning, and monitoring and evaluation. The TEA will liaise with country offices, business development, and lead donor stewardship for specific solicitations. When applicable, the TEA will provide technical review of work plans, budgets, and regular periodic reports. The TEA will collaborate with the Senior Business Development staff to ensure pipeline priorities are met, and with project lead to ensure project M&E plans and systems are rigorous and appropriate, that contribute to the generation of knowledge, and that learning from these projects is captured and disseminated. The TEA will be knowledgeable of global trends and best practices in education, early grade reading, monitoring and evaluation, and gender integration, and will apply this knowledge by providing input into the design of new initiatives and to the revision of existing approaches, fostering innovation and strengthening overall technical quality.
